The golf course is in such a condition that it could host a major event with very little special preparation. Very simple, Wynstone Golf Club is a championship caliber facility that warrants respect from all those teeing off the first hole. 

The agronomic status of the putting greens was excellent. Having made nearly 1,000 Turf Advisory Service visits during my tenure with the USGA Green Section, I am confident that one cannot find eighteen putting greens in better agronomic condition anywhere in the country.
